i love dark horse coffee (queen east location).
their lattes (3.75) are excellent, the shop is comfortable and cozy, and they provide free wifi. plus they feature artwork by local toronto artists. currently they are featuring a series of photographs of martin landau (photos shot for unscripted) taken by toronto photographer anthony pileggi. check them out if you are in the neighbourhood.
